So, here I am, sitting at my desk at home and waiting for supper to finish cooking. The hubby is looking after the cooking tonight. Since he's calling it "Roast Beef" and not "Swamp", "Gunkula", or a host of other frightening names, I feel relatively safe. If all else fails, I've got the Pillsbury Doughboy in the freezer and I'm not afraid to release him!
This is not my first blog, but I'm hoping it will be my first non-abandoned one! My friend, Damon, sent me the link to his, so I thought, what the heck, might as well start up another one. I've known Damon almost as long as I've been on the Internet. It's been ten years! Time flies when you're using bandwidth!
Back to work tomorrow, for the first time in about twelve days. Gotta love March Break. Also gotta love the fact that today is Day 5 of a really evil cold. My voice comes and goes, but hopefully it'll hang in there for tomorrow. It's not good when the substitute teacher requires a substitute teacher!
Time to go make some tea. Damon, don't watch! (taking tea bag, tossing it in mug full of tapwater and firing up the microwave.)
I know. I'm a heathen. :)

Just cos I'm a Brit don't mean that I make tea all that good. Hel, better than you do tho!
I've got it down to: mug, put teabag (Tetley) in mug, por boiling hot water over it. Leave it, without tampering, for 3 minutes. Take teabag out, maybe give it a bit of a squeeze over the mug before discarding, then add milk (I only have the teeniest amount to slightly turn it from blackish to very very dark brown). Voila, that's my tea. Not hugely ritualised but rather on the pleasant side.
Queen Liz is making her three mile journey to come over for a cuppa in a little while, too.
