We have rabbits. They live in the bunny resort in the backyard most of the time, but while digging, one of them made a left turn at Albuquerque, and suddenly we had a BUNNY BREAKOUT!
Gracie is usually pretty easy to retrieve. She is much less shy than her sister, and food will usually lead her where you want her to go. Misty, on the other hand -- not so much.
So I spent an hour and a half this morning chasing a dirty white rabbit all over the neighbourhood. Great way to meet up with the neigbours, though! Especially when they come out their back doors to find the lower half of my body protruding out from beneath a shrub!
Misty is home now, thank heavens. She finally found her way into our yard, so I tossed some food in at Gracie and left the cage door open. Sure enough, Misty just wanted to go back home. A minute later, she and Gracie were both chowing down and I was quite relieved.
Now, to stuff some cobblestones down those rabbit holes ...
