If you love something, set it free ...

Well, I am officially bunny-less, and I'm very sad. But I know it's what was best.

It took The Bunny Lady and I about a month to catch up with each other. For that time, Misty was in the "bunny condo", a four-level hutch. I would move her from one section to another when things needed cleaning. She had enough room to move around, but given that she and her sister found the huge "bunny resort" in the backyard a little confining, I know she was unhappy. I know she was bored out of her mind. And that's probably the only reason I was able to take her to The Bunny Lady on Saturday evening.

Although Misty's brothers had gone there a year ago, I had never actually seen the Bunny Lady's place before. It is, ladies and gentlemen, Bunny Heaven - a rural area with woods and fields and places to dig shelter and tunnels. Misty will be incredibly happy there. The Bunny Lady was going to keep Misty in an outdoor hutch overnight and then let her go with the others in the morning.

I'm sad. I miss her. But I know it was the right thing to do.
