In Loving Memory

After a period of declining health, Pepsi McLean, Chief Dog of the Saint John Clan McLean, went to the Rainbow Bridge on the evening of October 11, 2006.

Born in Saint John, New Runsquick, Canadog on December 18, 1994, she was adopted at eight weeks of age by her hoomin-mom, Karen (with her future-hoomin-daddy present) on February 13, 1995.

Within a week, Pepsi was an active member of Woofchat on rec-pets.dogs.misc, and remained so for the first few years of her life. In this forum, she founded and was Presidog of the Bed Hogs Extraordinaires (BHEs). With Shane, SkippyDog and Harry (her beloved), she was the sole female member of the Original Four Woofers to initiate Woofchat on IRC in the fall of 1995. She remained a member of the Woofers list until the day she went to the bridge. Her favourite activities included fossil-hunting on the beach, chasing sticks, playing the bagpipes, riding in the car, and, of course, her most-treasured time -- napping with her hoomins.

Predeceased by numerous friends, and many siblings of varying species, Pepsi leaves behind her beloved Harry; her daddy, Doug; Stormy the stoopid cccat; and her mom Karen, who will cherish Pepsi's memory for the rest of her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pepsi's memory to the Saint John Animal Rescue League, Lily's Hope Bichon Rescue, or the pet charity of the donor's choice.

CARPE SOMNUM!
(Bed Hogs Extraordinaires motto. Dog-latin for "Seize the bed".)
