Saint John, NB -- The bus driver has just taken my ticket and I'm listening to the elderly couple in front of me conversing softly in French. I'm not picking up a whole lot of what they're saying, which makes me a little nervous about my upcoming afternoon in Montreal, but I'm sure it will be fine.
I'm not as excited about this trip as I normally would be, but I'm sure that's just because the last week has been so sad. I'm anticipating misty eyes when I get to the train station in Moncton -- and maybe this is why I'm not as psyched as usual -- because when Pepsi and I drove up there last week, neither one of us knew it would be our last full day together.
I'm tired, and I'd rather sleep now, during the "boring" part of today's journey, than once I'm on the train. So I guess that's exactly what I'll do.
