I'm at school. I'm doing the "resource teacher" thing today, which is always interesting for too many reasons to mention here. But basically I'm running hither and yon, and hoping that I have stashed away in my brain the multitude of skills in various disciplines that will help my young charges. Oh, and discipline? Yeah, that too.
Today I was talking with one of the student interns, though, and I'm very excited. She's an artist and I was looking through her portfolio. All kinds of really cool mixed media stuff! I told her we need a play date -- I'm super-psyched!
We have a storm coming -- snow first, then freezing rain and/or rain. Fun times in the Maritimes. If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes. Yesterday afternoon was beautiful, though. That "five minutes" could have stuck around longer, if you ask me.
The days are getting longer and the sun is getting stronger. Both of these things make my gratitude list.
Well, I'd better gather up my materials and get ready to head out. My prep period only lasts so long, and I need to take a look at the math. (Feel free to chuckle at this point -- I'm just glad there's some English in there too to balance it out!)
