Ten Things Rug Hooking Has Taught Me About Life

It's only been five days, but already I have learned some life lessons.

  1. Things don't always stay where you put them.
  2. The moment you say something isn't a problem it becomes one.
  3. It is possible to get yourself out of tight quarters.
  4. What goes down must come up.
  5. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, shades, and directions.
  6. Big tasks can get done bit by bit.
  7. Sometimes things work out in spite of first appearances.
  8. A lot can be said for doing things "the old-fashioned way".
  9. Sometimes a little bit can go a long way.
  10. Not all addictions are bad for you.
