Course update

So, I’m still managing to keep all the balls in the air: teaching morning and afternoon, and then learning and doing homework in the evening. I don’t think I could do this for months, but I’m pretty sure that I can get through the next two weeks, which is essentially what I need to do. The university courses go until the first week of July (for exams), but the teaching dries up the first week of June. I shall miss the income, but will relish having a lot more time on my hands.

The first Stats assignment was a joy to get back: 54/54 was the mark. The second one will not be as kind, as I already know I made some pretty big mistakes. But there were a few bonus points embedded in there somewhere, so perhaps those will make up for it.

Today is designated University Work Day. I not only have to get oriented and caught up in Stats, but I have an assignment and midterm in Space Studies on Tuesday. To infinity — and BEYOND!

Hubby got me a laptop for our anniversary last weekend, and it’s as powerful as my desktop system, so that is making my life much easier. I’ve learned that I am unable to really accomplish much at home, as there are always too many distractions. With the laptop, I can take my creative life (My Created Life) on the road to a place where I can focus, as soon as I have some time to do so.

I’m really missing being creative. I just don’t have time right now, but I can feel the need for a release. I picked up the latest copy of Cloth, Paper, Scissors yesterday, and the feeling that came over me as I went through it quickly can best be described as “forlorn and wistful”. Soon, my Muses, soon …

But for now, it’s schoolwork. Lots and lots of schoolwork.
