Hi, everyone! Here's my big announcement!

As you know, I have decided to go back to university to become a dental hygienist. In short, I'm doing an entire life overhaul, creating the life that I want to live.

I have begun a new web site -- My Created Life -- that is not only about my new life, but will also enable me to bring it about. Among other things, I will be using that site to sell my creations (writing, digital scrapbooking, art, et cetera) in order to help finance my return to university. (Because, let's face it -- I had no idea I'd be heading back to school at thirty-eight years of age!) This will also be where I share my weight loss journey when I embark back upon that path shortly.

I am putting Thinking Out Loud (this blog) on hiatus for two weeks, partly because I don't have time right now to do both blogs, and partly because I want to introduce you to My Created Life.

It's still under construction, but there's something about standing in the middle of something and picturing what it will become. I want to share that experience with you.
