Happy Birthday, SC!

Sometimes, in this life, you meet the most wonderful people in the most unusual ways.

Besides being able to tutor me in stats via blog comments, SC has been one of my best friends for about thirteen years now. Together we have been through wildfires, hurricanes and 9/11, the birth of her son, a Duran Duran concert (both happier occasions), trying to send crystal candlesticks (intact) through the mail, possible Colin Firth sightings, and all of life's other ups and downs.

(Not bad for someone I met due to my late dog, Pepsi, via the Internet.)
