It’s the International Space Station!
One of the things that has most fascinated me in the last few weeks is that you can see the International Space Station from the ground. So I’ve been following two websites (ISS – Sightings and ISS – Orbital Tracking), and waiting for clear skies ever since.
About a half-hour ago, I headed outside at the right time. Because I live in the city, there’s a lot of light pollution, but after I got excited over two false “bright spots”, Hubby pointed me in the right direction. It only lasted a minute or so, but I definitely saw it!
I also saw a meteorite and either a high-flying airplane or a satellite. But the ISS, by far, was what I was most excited about.
Now, if I can just see it with the Space Shuttle Discovery catching up with it...
