Weekend Wrap-Up

Well, I can't believe that the four-day weekend is coming to a close. I'm not really sure how it went by so quickly.

Friday morning, I met with the Carnegie Rughookers and hooked another square on my rug. It's going soooo slowly now that I don't really have time to hook, so it was great to be there. I love seeing what other people are working on, and I got my official name tag! Yay! I borrowed a couple of books from the group's library but haven't really looked at them too closely yet.

On Friday afternoon Hubby and I poked around a bit. We got groceries, took Zaph to the vet for his shots, and later took Piper up to the Bark Park. It was nice to just get a chance to relax together.

Saturday morning was when Hubby presented me with Twelve, my one-day-early anniversary gift, and I spent all day setting it up, copying things onto it, etc. My biggest chuckle was when I went to log on for the first time. Usually Hubby sets my icon to flowers, or a doggy, or something equally warm-and-fuzzy. This time, my logon icon is ... an ASTRONAUT! How cool is THAT?!

Yesterday was the official anniversary, and we had a late lunch at Montanas, then came home, taking alternate naps (because we're such "oldly-weds" now). Then last night we watched The Other Boleyn Girl (I like despising Natalie Portman), and the end of The Mummy. And then we slept some more.

Today, I worked with putting yet more things on Twelve (this time it was all of my digital scrapbooking stuff), and Hubby did computer things in his office. (World domination may be just around the corner.) We're going to watch The Queen and then go to bed.

My heavens, we're so dull! *grin*

Oh, but I did discover this (the most amazing thing I've seen in a long time). You MUST watch it!
