This morning, Piper, Hubby and I headed out to the Irving Nature Park for a couple of hours. It wasn't too hot, and it wasn't too cold -- it was just right.
The humans took a lot of pictures (including this one of Piper, where she's showing off her blue-spotted nose from killing a pen a few days ago). Piper played in the water a fair bit, and all in all, we had a good time.
With gas prices being what they are, we are so lucky to have a place like the Irving Nature Park five minutes away. If you like hiking in the woods, they have trails. If you like walking on a rocky beach, there are several. It really is a fantastic place, and I think we should go there more often.
I'm actually tempted to take a book and head back over.
