My bags are packed; I'm ready to go ...

I've had "Leaving on a Jet Plane" stuck in my head for the last twenty-four hours or so, thanks to Sis Kris. But it's now true. Everything is packed (regrettably in two cases, not one, but what can I do with a 20 lb. carry-on limit?) and I'm just waiting for Hubby to get ready to go.

I did manage to sleep last night. I don't know how.

This is real, folks! I'm really going to Ottawa! I'm really going to meet an astronaut!
