Hubby suggested Mighty Putty, but ...

... I opted to go to a new dentist. :)

Yesterday was KJ Maintenance Day.  I came home from the doctor with an entire arsenal of drugs to finally kick this Swine Flu Leftover Misery to the curb.  I love my doctor!

2009-12-14-cartoonThen in the afternoon, I went to the dentist that Dr. Munchkin recommended for me.  I greeted her with, "You come highly recommended by [Dr. Munchkin's real name]," and waited for her reaction.  She beamed and replied something professional about "[Dr. Munchkin] taught me at Dalhousie.  She's an excellent teacher."  I grinned and said, "[Dr. Munchkin] is my baby sister who up and abandoned me to go teach full-time, so that's good to hear."

We hit it off right away, and although I was still a little achy this morning, my tooth feels good as new.  (I have a really small mouth and my teeth are really close together, which ALWAYS makes things more of a wrestling match than normal.  I usually hurt a bit the next day as a result.)

Anyway, since some of you really enjoyed the up-close-and-personal view of my broken tooth (you know who you are), feel free to click the happy tooth over there to see the photo of the new filling.

(Mighty Putty, indeed.  This is why Hubby fixes computers and not people, folks! :))

Double EEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!

LOL

Actually, it looks a LOT better and HEY! I'm not even a dentist, but I DO have teeth - does that count?!?

LOL

And if Dr. Munchkin agrees that she did a fantastic job, that means that her lessons, at the time, didn't fall on deaf ears, eh? or maybe I should write "fall on hallow teeth??!?!?? *grin*

BTW, give my compliments to the photographer... they should be submitting their photo to "Le Prix de la Photographie"... LOL

As DH and I are early birds, we're off to catch our "worm", this morning and battle all other early birds!
(translated? we're trying to get to the stores before your average Mrs. Shopper wakes up!)

Now go and chew to your hearts content, my friend! May you do justice to your Christmas turkey and all other holiday foods! *VBG*
