The course known as CHEM 1831 is now behind me, and I really think the exam went well. It was long, and challenging, and my brain was buzzing when I got out of there, but I think I got the 84% I need in order to get the A+ on my transcript. In short, I am pleased and relieved! :)
This picture of Prof. Muttley is from the same room next to my chemistry professor's office where I was hanging with Dmitri. This picture was a plaque-mounted 5"x7" and it made me laugh every time I saw it. (It's the solution to the equation that does it. If it were Piper, it would be "= tennis ball.") I asked my chem prof if I could take a picture of it, and, sweetheart that she is, she just took it off the wall and gave it to me. Once the marks are all in, I'm going to do something nice for her. There is absolutely no way I could have rebounded from the flu and done well in this course without her support and help.
Next on my academic agenda is a Physics/Astronomy course. I know that on the surface it might not look like it has much to do with Dental Hygiene, but a) it'll help my transcript, b) I need to see if I can take a challenging course during the hardest time of the year for me, c) I need to do some research for a project I'm writing, and d) it's just plain cool!
Okay, off to work I go! Enjoy your Friday wherever you are!
