A change in tide.

Music in Its RoarI live along the Bay of Fundy, where we have the highest tides in the world.  If I've learned anything at all from watching the ebbs and flows, it's that things are constantly changing.

I lost my job yesterday.  There's lots I could say about it, but this isn't the place.  It also wouldn't change anything, so aside from saying that I don't believe my dismissal was warranted, we'll just leave it be.

In the meantime, it's a gorgeous day out there and I have a husband and dog who are anxious to go do something fun.

How can I argue with that? :)

Karen, Tides change all things . . . the shape of the shore and the size of the rocks thereon. I have learned that the stumbling blocks we encounter are there for a reason and only build us up. Keep on smiling that wonderful smile of yours and things will certainly get better. Take the time to rest, rejuvenate, and, if necessary, re-invent yourself. You are too fantastic a person not to rise far above all of this and succeed!!

Suzanne said it better than I would ever be able to. I agree with her on all points. I wish you the best in your next endeavors, whatever they may be. I really like the wise words that you posted from Bernard Meltzer...very true.
