For Mika and Mary Jane

For more than a decade, I have been part of a special group of online friends, all brought together by the love of their canine companions. Yesterday, one of the original dogs passed away, or, as we say, "went to the Rainbow Bridge".

I have been thinking about Mika and her "mom" ever since I heard the news. It made me sad, not only to think of MJ's loss, but to think of how many of our beloved dogs have gone.

Driving home from running errands about a half-hour ago, Hubby and I saw the most incredible double rainbow arcing across the sky.

I immediately thought, "That's the Rainbow Bridge."
