How sad can this be?

To look at my first post in this blog, I am cringing at the word "unabandoned".

Would you believe I actually LOST this blog? I'd forgotten my username. I'd forgotten what email account I used to sign in. I FORGOT EVERYTHING. I even emailed Damon to find out what the heck this thing was called. Utterly pathetic.

Suddenly, I understand why My Resident Computer Guru asked me three times before I formatted "Are you sure you have everything?" Everything, apparently, except for that one little text file that told me about this blog!

So, I'm supposed to be teaching art tomorrow. Should be interesting -- assuming I'm there. If there's a strike and the schools are closed, then I guess I'll be sitting at home. Maybe I'll excavate my kitchen counter. Maybe I'll make some artist trading cards. Maybe I'll lounge around in bed with the remote control. I like that idea. :)

For now, I'm just so relieved to be back in my blog, I don't know what to say.
