Got It Done.

-- and I got it done well.

Headache is coming in strong, but I got the lesson over with, and I did very well. We did Simms Corner and uptown today, along with some highway driving, so it was definitely a challenging lesson. (For those of you not "in the know", when I worked in tourism, "Simms Corner" was always my response when the tourists would say, "You know, that really crazy place, with cars coming at you in all directions, and those crazy idiots turning left zooming through like they have the right of way?" And, in fact, they do.)

I warned the instructor at the beginning that I might not be able to finish, and so as we went, he checked in every once in awhile to make sure I was doing okay. Once we hit the 3/4 mark, I knew I'd be able to finish, no problem. But now I feel the need for a nap, before Scott picks me up.

Oh, and hey! We played in the parallel parking area for a few minutes, just for fun, and I got it in on the second try! He said that it would be a "pass" on my test. Woohoo!!!

I also pumped gas for the first time today, and that was a piece of cake. Earlier, while still in my driveway, he had played a trick on me (popping the hood so it was slightly ajar to see if I'd notice before we started out. I did notice, but didn't realize what was "off" until he told me.) So, in retaliation, I locked him out when he went to pay for the gas. :)

Looking at my book, I see that I got mostly A's, with a few B's, on today's lessons. I just might get this licence after all.

A driver's license is a must have I guess but I would prefer always to have a driver a la "home James". Do you find that Advil liquid gels work for a migraine if you catch it in time? I do.
