Pisces - First Entry in Art Journal

Well, here is my first foray into the world of putting paint on plain ol' paper. I definitely think I need a lighter touch (and a much thinner coat). But I guess that's what this is all about -- learning as you go.

I love going through old National Geographic magazines, and when I came across the picture of all of these fish, I had to use it. What better what to break in my journal than with my sun sign? I once had an astrologer do my chart and say that he'd never met anyone who was a more typical Pisces than me. (I'm not sure if that's good or bad!)

The left-hand page is Emerald Green Dye-na-flow, and the right-hand side is Pearl Turquoise Lumiere. Hard to get a decent picture of all that shiny background.

Looks like I'm off and running.
