Dreary afternoon.

The weather outside is pretty rotten. It snowed for a bit, then we got some ice pellets, and now it's raining. It's grey and slushy, and Piper looked like I was persecuting her when I tried to persuade her to go to the yard to do her business. Now we are curled up on the bed -- Piper, Zaphod and me -- watching a re-run of Law & Order.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning (just to get some prescription renewals), and then I dropped by the school to get some alumni association material. Today is a Professional Development Day, so there is no school for students, and, as a result, me. But I'm booked pretty solid for the next couple of weeks, so I'm no longer panicking.

There's a nap coming on, and since I can give in today (and there's a hockey game tonight), I think I will.
