Early Saturday Morning

Well, the cold seems almost gone now, and for that I'm extremely grateful. All that's left is a nagging cough that wakes me up all night (which is why I'm blogging at 5:30 AM, in case you're wondering).

I'm very excited to be back into trading ATCs again. There's a new site that just opened up on Thursday called ATCsforALL, and already I've had some cards spoken for. I love getting ATCs in the mail -- so much more fun than bills and junk!

The best part about ATCs is that people are sharing a piece of themselves when they trade with you. Because they took the time to make the card, you are receiving a part of the life experience of someone you might never actually meet in person. And I think that's kinda cool. *grin*

It snowed again last night -- just a dusting to remind us it's still February. My birthday is in less than two weeks now, though, and to me that has always signified the beginning of the end of winter. Some birthdays we had sledding parties. Others I got skipping ropes I could use that very day. I'm sure there are at least two more storms to come, but that's okay. Winter's days are numbered.
