Well, I just went through the online list of courses offered for the Spring Session at the local university, and there are three that look like they’ll cross off a few prerequisites for me. I can’t register yet (I haven’t even applied to the university), but I’m so excited that I had to do something.
So I looked up the professors’ emails and dropped them each a line, asking about required texts for each of their courses. I know, of course, how much tuition is going to cost me, but textbooks are always such a wild card. I’ve paid anywhere from five to two hundred dollars for a textbook, and that was “back in the day”.
Still, just contacting the professors makes me feel like I’m moving forward, and that makes me feel good.
I’m really starting to believe that this is going to happen!
