I wish I were one of the people at school who are headed somewhere sunny and warm this time tomorrow. Piper and I were up at the Bark Park for an hour, and despite me sitting under the blankets for about thirty minutes now, I'm still freezing. (I think the Great Dane drool on the sleeves of my winter jacket is still frozen, too.)
But Piper had a blast, playing first with Hayden (a French mastiff), then her buddy Griffin (an Airedale), and then finally Quell, a big, happy Great Dane. All in all, it was a good time, and I hated to take her home, but I was afraid my ears were going to fall off.
Today was a good day at school. I covered a few classes and got to see some really great kids. Two girls, on hearing that my birthday is next week, hastily created a birthday card out of looseleaf for me!
Hubby should be home soon (instigating a canine happy dance, no doubt). In fact, she's already gone downstairs twice to look for him. After 6:30 PM, I am clearly her second choice. *grin*

I'm Kramer's second choice once McGyver shows up for work. I can understand though, McGyver takes Kramer "bubye in the car." Thankfully, I'll always rank higher than my husband. A girl's got her pride ya know.
