(yawn)

I'm not quite sure where the day went today, but it went fast! I know somewhere in there I tried to take a nap, but the black-and-white blur with the wagging tail had other ideas! The weird weather has the opposite effect on her than it does on me. I want to curl up under about a dozen blankies. Piper, on the other hand, wants to leave no snowflake untrampled.

Most of my day was spent at the computer, and I think I've gotten a lot of the kinks out of my styles and actions in Photoshop Elements, which is good. I played around a bit today, to see what weird things I could come up with. I don't think I'll ever be as familiar with it as I am Paint Shop Pro, but there are some things that I can only do with PSE. My solution at this point seems to be to keep both programs open and cut and paste back and forth. Seems to be working so far.

In other news, I got my first ATC swap from ATCsforALL.com today. It's a great little ATC called Sibling Kitties, by Maggie Mize. You can see it here. I'm looking forward to her receiving mine, since ATCs always tend to look better in person than on the screen. There's something about just holding it in your hand that makes a huge difference. I've also sent out to two other collectors this week, so I'm looking forward to that, as well.

Speaking of ATCs ... We had quite a good turn-out for the ATC Swap at the school. The kids who came were pretty keen, and the swaps were fun. We're going to try to do it once a month, to give everyone time to "recharge" their swap-sets.

I have a bunch of ATCs that I scanned in groups the other day, and I'm gradually getting them ready to upload to put up for swap at ATCsforALL. I guess another reason digital creation appeals to me is that I don't have to scan them in! I know -- I'm a lazy girl -- but it's just part of my charm.

Assuming Mother Nature doesn't interfere, I'm working the next two days. Since it's the last two days before March Break, the kids will be a little wackier than usual, but that's okay. I usually get a good laugh or two out of those kinds of days.

Hey! Did I tell you my birthday is next week? You'll need a fire permit for the thirty-eight candles, I'm sure!

And that's the news from here ... I'm going to go watch Big Brother.
