Well, as of about an hour ago, I finished my second week of Spring Session classes, and I’m still able to hold my head above water. The current in Stats class is getting stronger, but as long as I keep on top of the material, I should be okay. It takes me about three times through each concept/topic before I get it, and that’s frustrating, but at least I do understand at some point.
The Space Studies course makes me very happy. I swear, if it weren’t too late (and it didn’t involve so much math), I’d want to be an astronaut when I grew up. From an interest standpoint, the course is really fascinating. From a transcript standpoint, I think I can do well. In short, Space Studies is a win-win. And this is good, because there are moments that the stats course makes me want to beat my head against the wall. (”What’s the probability that KJ can attain unconsciousness …?”)
Art is not happening. Writing is not happening. Most of life beyond school and, well, school, is not happening. I just study, study, study.
Three weeks of (probable) teaching left. Six weeks of university left.
I can do this.
I am doing this.
