The Final Frontier.

Space Studies class is beyond cool. Now, I’m not happy that one of the questions on the assignment involves doing math, and after a little while, the “supply and demand” graphs made my eyes cross, but it’s really cool stuff otherwise.

I’m going to see if I can see the space station cross the sky at about 5 AM Monday morning. The prof showed us this cool website that tells you when to look. I just hope the weather cooperates. It’s looking like rain at the moment.

I have a four-day weekend, and nothing at this point could make me happier. Well, okay, winning the lottery would. But in Stats class yesterday, I learned that my chances of hitting The Big One are 1 in 13 983 816. (That class is sucking all the joy from my life. But the professor is nice, at least.)

I was thinking in Space class tonight, wondering which I would rather do: Visit the resting place of RMS Titanic, or go to the International Space Station. In truth, I don’t really know which one I’d choose, and the chances of either happening are infinitely small. (Maybe even worse than the aforementioned lottery?) But I think the chances of having an opportunity of visiting space (not necessarily the International Space Station) are higher, providing the space tourism industry continues to develop.

The things I think about when I’m toddling off to bed…
